Cheesecakes were being made for friends & family events by Joe. At the end of 2016 Pleesecakes was an idea on a pad, turning into an Instagram page by January 2017.
With the kind support of Joe Wicks and a shout out, Pleesecakes birth was fairly monumental and we were thrust into the lime light of social media.
We signed with Madeleine Milburn in March and suddenly we were now about to become authors three months from launch.
We signed with our publisher Quadrille in November of the first year with 60 recipes having to be produced by the January of 2018.
We made an appearance on ITV This Morning with Phil & Holly as part of 2017 ‘hot food trends’. We also had the privilege of making a cake on behalf of Mcvities for The Queen.
We launched our first range of mini cheesecakes in Selfridges, Oxford St. An iconic moment for Pleesecakes.
Our recipe book was finally released & to do so, we appeared, for the second time, on ITV This Morning with Phil & Holly who made their very own Pleesecake live on TV.
Filming in the den in June of the second year was mind blowing & was the scariest experience to date.
With nerves running wild, our time to be exposed to the nation on Dragons Den was upon us. With an offer from Touker the interest was there, but Joe kindly declined believing we could take things on ourselves.
We launched on Deliveroo edition hubs, covering 14 locations around the UK.
A festive launch on Ocado saw us create some magical unique cakes including a cheesecake in the shape of a clementine. Appearing on the front cover of their catalogue.
We hit the festival scene with our build your own cheesecake bar. Attending, taste of Dublin, taste of London, BST hyde park to name a few.

Classes to learn how to make your own Pleesecake were a huge hit.
We revolutionised the frozend dessert market by creating the Worlds First Scoopable Frozen Cheesecake, launching with named tubs Charlie, Lily-Rose and Bonnie & Clyde
We became brand ambassadors for Vodafone Business and took part in many campaigns including the one above.
We utilised our suppliers to ensure the local community still had fresh food supplies throughout the early stages of the pandemic
We launched our Build Your Own At Home kits, giving fan a chance to decorate their own Pleesecake with video instructions from us
We were available in the first UK Amazon Fresh store on launch day and continued to grow as they expanded their retail stores
Malfy approached us to create a range of summer inspired cakes to pair with their flavoured gins
We released a new version of our recipe book, featuring 5 new reicpes
We hit a million subscribers on TikTok after only launching 8 months prior, celbrating with a 5kg bar of Toblerone
We built and launched the first ever Freezecakes van, allowing us to take our Worlds First frozen dessert on the road to festivals.
We created another innovative product for Easter 2021, the Chuffle. A cheesecake filled truffle, allowing a Pleesecake tobe enjoyed in a single bite!
Baileys approached us regarding a collaboration for Christmas 2021. We created 4 Baileys flavoured chuffles to match their existing flavours and a custom mince pie flavour
We have huge things in the pipeline for Pleesecakes, with the most exciting year about to take place, some things we can’t discuss yet! But we are so excited to see what 2022 has in store as we continue to grow, be creative and most of all passionate about everything we do!
