DOES MY PLEESECAKE/S ARRIVE FROZEN?
Yes the cheesecake/s will arrive to you frozen and for optimum taste we recommend defrosting in the fridge at 5c or below for up to 8 hours prior to serving (please refer to defrosting guidelines, instructions will arrive with your cake also)
A small will take a round 3 & 1/2 - 4 hours to defrost, a medium around 5- 6 hours and the large around 7-8 hours. this will depend on the fridge and the temperature so please do check on your Pleesecake.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO SERVE A PLEESECAKE?
We recommend serving it chilled but not frozen. If you can wait that long ....
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY CAKE TO DEFROST?
Our full size cheesecakes (small, medium & large) will take approx 5 - 8 hours to defrost in a fridge between 2 - 5c. Our mini me's & minis will take 1 - 2 hours respectively.
Do not defrost at room temperature. Do not defrost longer than the recommended times. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
HOW LONG WILL MY CAKES KEEP FOR?
Once defrosted we recommend consuming within 24 hours although the cake may naturally lose its shape slightly. Prior to defrosting they will keep for up to a month in the freezer.
DO OUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN EGGS OR GELATINE?
None of our cakes contain eggs or gelatine. Some toppings do however ie jelly sweets. Please inform us before ordering of any intolerances.
**Pleesecakes Ltd offers products made with nuts, soy, milk, eggs and wheat. While we will take steps to minimise the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with nut,soy,milk,egg or wheat allergies or intolerances.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO WE REQUIRE FOR AN ORDER?
We require a minimum of 3 days notice, but this is subject to change depending on the diary at that time.
We recommend getting your order in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. If you require something sooner then please do give us a call as we may be able to help.
WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY OPTIONS?
We cover an approx 50 mile radius from our base in Ewell.
Costs vary depending on distance, day and size of your order, the team will be able to calculate this for you.
You can also request to collect your order from our base at Ewell.
The collection point is Ewell ARC, Welbeck Close, London Road, Ewell, Surrey,
KT17 2BG. Only placed and confirmed orders can be collected from here.
CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER?
Yes of course, you can collect your order from our base at Ewell.
Monday-Friday between the hours of 7.00am-4.00pm
Saturday between the hours of 7.00am-9.00am
All collections are subject to orders being paid in full prior to collection & your collection time being confirmed.
HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED OF MY DELIVERY SLOT?
One of the delivery team will be in touch with you the night before to notify you of a more precise time for your delivery, giving you normally a 2-3 hour time slot. If you have specific opening times if we are delivering to a business for example it is very important you notify us of this when placing your order.
If you require an a.m or p.m slot again please notify us of this and we will do our best to accommodate this.
DOES SOMEONE NEED TO BE IN TO TAKE DELIVERY OF THE PLEESECAKE?
Yes someone does need to be home to sign for the delivery and either put the cake directly into the fridge or freezer when we deliver. We are unable to leave the cake(s) without a signature .
DO YOU DELIVER 7 DAYS A WEEK?
We deliver every day except Sunday.
